Bloogle Puppies!! Bloodhound/Beagle

This is Harlie.. She is going to be a momma!!! And I am not very happy about it... But I honestly didn't think it was possible....
Because this... Is Cash... The Daddy!
Now.... Just imagine what these Bloodhound/beagles are going to look like....
Their ears are going to be a mile long!

Their attitudes will also be a mile long..
 Will they be huge???
Will they wear bags on their head?
 Backpacks on their backs?
Will they have enough skin to 5 other dogs??? Or....
Will they be little... Sweet, multi-colored pups?
I know they will love each other though :)
They will have long ears no matter what..
Oh Goodness... Will they wrinkle up their face like this??? I hope so
They will love to play with momma.. Will they look ridiculous when they play?
will they wrestle each other outside???

So, I hope (even though I wish she wasn't pregnant) that they are medium size, with really short legs, and massive ears.. I hope they are red like Harlie, but have Cash's short, stubby legs... I hope they have enough skin for 10 dogs and I hope they wrinkle up their nose when they play, like Harlie does... So although I did not want this to happen, I know they will be such cute puppies... But again, not sure how it even happened...

Oh and one other thing.... Do you want a puppy??? :))))))

God Gave Me YOU

God gave me you for the ups and downs
God gave me you for the days of doubt
For when I think I’ve lost my way
There are no words here left to say, it’s true
God gave me you
I’ve been a walking heartache
I’ve made a mess of me
The person that I’ve been lately
Ain’t who I wanna be

But you stay here right beside me
Watch as the storm goes through
And I need you

God gave me you for the ups and downs
God gave me you for the days of doubt
For when I think I’ve lost my way
There are no words here left to say, it’s true
God gave me you

There’s more here than what were seeing
A divine conspiracy
That you, an angel lovely
Could somehow fall for me
You’ll always be love’s great martyr
Ill be the flattered fool
& I need you

God gave me you for the ups and downs
God gave me you for the days of doubt
For when I think I’ve lost my way
There are no words here left to say, it’s true
God gave me you

On my own I’m only
Half of what I could be like
Can’t do without you
We are stitched together
And what love has tethered
I could never undo

God gave me you for the ups and downs
God gave me you for the days of doubt
God gave me you for the ups and downs
God gave me you for the days of doubt
For when I think I’ve lost my way
There are no words here left to say, it’s true
God gave me you, gave me you.
Gave me you.

One Proud Wife

My husband is in his 3rd year of Pharmacy school... On Monday he had his White Coat Ceremony. This isn't graduation, but this is where all the 3rd year Pharmacy students walk across the stage and receive their white coats, and it is kind of like the Pharmacy Dept saying "good luck on rotations.." Sean isn't a Pharmacist yet, but he will be going on rotations in August, and by next summer he will be a Pharmacist. I honestly just wanted to write this to clear things up because some people didn't understand and I agree it is a little confusing. So, I am very proud because he received a scholarship and he is about to start his very last year of Pharmacy school!!!

I'm a Teacher

Well, as you know... I am a teacher! I am a teacher who loves going to school and hearing the crazy things that come out of 4 year olds mouths. I am a teacher who loves going to school to learn from other teachers and from my students. I am a teacher who knows my calling God has placed on my heart. I am a teacher who desires a job, not just any job, but the job God wants me to have in the school God wants me to be in. I am a teacher who believes with my entire heart that God is in control and will open up that door (in his time, not mine). I am a teacher, and I absolutely love it!

God knows what pushes my buttons, and I believe that he uses those things to make me stronger. Today in pre-k, one of my sweet little 4 year old boys told me "if you ever talk to me like that, I will never talk to you again." So, this was just one of the many opportunities I have each day to have patience and handle that situation like I should and not like I wanted to ;) I am a teacher, and I love it!

The Story Behind The Hunt

SO turkey hunting doesn't sound like much fun right??.. We got up about 4:45AM and were in the woods by 5:30AM! I have always deer hunted with my hubby but this was only my second turkey hunting experience and it was my first turkey hunting experience with my own gun.. I have shot guns before but this shotgun was something I hadn't tried out  yet.. But since I am a trooper :) I was brave about it. Anyway, I have to say that Turkey hunting is way more exciting that any other type of hunting I have done because you pretty much have to find them and then follow them around until they stop running away, and deer hunting you just sit in the stand/blind and wait...... and wait..... and pray that something besides raccoons and rabbits will come out and play.

So, Allie at 5 in the morning isn't chipper, happy Allie... Allie at 5 in the morning is the girl my husband doesn't remember marrying :) the one who snaps at him for just about anything, and he is so sweet that he just says "man you need to wake up.". The one who complains about a headache, and a backache, and the fact that I could hear 1,000 turkey's gobbling but none of them would come close enough for me to even see. So as I sat in the dark (after almost being sprayed by a skunk that was like 10 feet from us) against a very large tree calling the gobblers to come out my husband decides it is time to move to another spot. So as he is walking to put everything up, I hear him..... A gobbler, just behind the trees. So, Sean stops because I am saying "I heard him, he is right back there." Sean comes back and sits down and right then he says "OhMyGosh, Allie get ready, they are comin." I look up and there are 3 toms, and about 15 hens running towards us. I thought Sean was going to have a heart attack... I raise my gun and Sean is saying "shoot the one on the left" so I shoot and then everything is blurry after that because.... Sean shot one too. Which would normally make be very excited because we both got one, buttttt my head was right at the end of his gun, so as he ran out to celebrate I was curled up into a ball crying my gun threw me backwards and because my head was vibrating from my gun, and thennnn his gun that went off 2 inches next to me. Now about the gun. Sean failed to tell me how HARD it would kick and throw me back into the very large, very hard tree. I have shot lots of guns, just not a shotgun so when I asked Sean why he didn't warn me he said "I didn't want you to be scared and not shoot when you needed to" SERIOUSLY SEAN..  So today, not only does my body ache from being thrown into the large tree by the crazy powerful shotgun, but I also can't hear out of my right ear, just a lot of ringing.... But we walked out of the woods with 2 Toms :) and great memories... Honestly, I am lucky to have him... He puts up with happy Allie and grumpy, mean Allie...

Snap

I take pictures, mainly just for fun but have been getting more serious about it. I am doing some weddings this summer with my good friend Chelsea, so if you need any pictures taking just let me know!
