Life In The R. Home

Well as you know, Sean and I moved 4 hours away from our families about two years ago for him to attend Pharmacy school.. We got married on July of 2008, bought a house, bought a Bloodhound and moved all of our belongings to this very small town that made me want to cry! The first night we were here and we went to Taco Bell at 9:50 and they were about to close I about broke down and cried. Who has a Taco Bell and closes it at 10PM?? This was a sign to me that we COULD NOT move here!

The first year, well lets just say that "hard" is an understatement. I never knew how much I depended on my Mom and so many others! I didn't realize how much I needed my family in my everyday life! The summer after we moved here, I was pretty sad.. I missed my family, my parents, my nieces, my friends. I had no time to drive 4 hours home due to summer school and work. But, through all of this, it made Sean and I so strong because I had to totally depend and trust him, I had no one else to turn to so that made me totally trust Sean!

So, now we have lived in this small town for two years. We have lived in our very cute house (which we are remodeling) for two years in July, we have had this awesome Bloodhound (Harlie) for two years, and we have adopted the sweetest beagle ever! We sold our car and truck, and purchased a newer and nicer truck. We are involved in a great church, and I teach children's church to the best group of 5-6 year olds ever! Sean and I love each other more than ever and I have great respect for the man he has become! We totally trust and depend on each other and I can honestly say that moving away from our families has been so good for us...

This summer we are both happy to have a break from school. I have a few weeks off before summer school starts. I am working full time at the college and Sean is working a lot also! We are saving up money to pay for Pharmacy School! We have been working really hard on our house, and it is looking awesome! I start Student Teaching in August and I can honestly say I have never been this Excited/Nervous about anything! I am going to do a split, which means I will student teach in Pre-k half of the time and 1st Grade the other half! We wish we could make it home more, but with work it just doesn't happen.. I can honestly say I have grown to love Weatherford, now with that being said I do not want to live here after Pharmacy school but I do really enjoy the town!! I love the people I have met, the friends are amazing and the people I work with and for are the best!

Soooo... I have decided to blog some of the things that happen in the Roye family!
