Well, they are here... Eight little guys.... 5 black and 3 tan... I love them already, so finding homes for them is going to be very hard on me. If you don't know me all that well I am the girl who saves all animals, and the uglier they are the more I love them. I used to chase my hound dog Rolo around our 63 acres of land taking away every turtle he would find and placing it in a fenced area by our house so he couldn't chew them up. I am the girl who was given my 5th grade class pet by my teacher (gerbil named BUG) because she knew I would love him and take care of him.. I am the girl who never found a stray cat that wasn't mine. My mom would start off really tough, but 30 minutes later we would have a new addition to the family. I am the girl who goes to the animal shelter to get A DOG, and comes home with two because I didn't want the other one to be alone while I was at school.. If we went to the shelter for a cat, always without exception came home with 2 (and I always got the ugliest 2 because I knew they would never get adopted) Now lets think about this, my parents caved wayyyy to easily. I don't think I ever just got one animal except my horse, Duffy/Pilgrim ( yes he had two names, my dad didn't like Duffy so he names him too lol)
So having said all of that, I am not the girl who just gives animals away... This is going to be a huge challenge for me and I have already told my husband that I will probably cry every step of the way. Now, yes I am finding homes for my puppies, but I will not sit at WalMart and give them away to the first crack head who comes up and wants one. I will find good homes one way or another. My brother is taking 2 and I am hoping my beautiful mom will take one. I have a couple of friends who want one too so I think that will make it easier for me. Anyway, as my dad always says "this too shall pass" and I know that :))))) just wish I had land so I could keep them alllll, yes I said alllll...
